Merlin was our first and never to be forgotten Beardie and true to his name he did give us the run around. He never wanted to be leader of the pack - he was too much his own person for that. He came from Garth and Sue Nicholls and we will always be grateful to them for this character Beardie.
Tara was our first show Beardie, unfortunately she suffered an accident when jumping up for a ball damaging her spine, however she was a tough little cookie and lived to fifteen years with her own funny movement and the super care of my Mum and Dad. In those days swimming for dogs had not been invented but we used to take her to a race horse swimming pool (imagine the state of the water) to keep her fit since when all our dogs have swum and most liked it.

Things got serious when we acquired Galdalf whose only failing show wise was his hopeless handler. I wish I could turn the clock back as I loved my blue Frank son dearly and he loved me back ten fold.
