Lost Bearded Collie

If you have lost your Bearded Collie then contact either the Friendly Bearded Collie Club
http://www.beardedcollies.org.uk/portal/
or Bearded Collie UK (http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/Bearded_Collie_4UK/message/4734)

on the net and let them have details the information should then reach lots of people who have bearded collies, hopefully someone in your area. I would also suggest that you put your dog on

Your local village, parish, community website with a photo

Dogs Lost
http://www.doglost.co.uk/page.aspx?pg=72
who run a web site listing dogs lost and found
also
http://www.nationalpetregister.org/mp-dogs.php

another site with some sources of info is
Lost dogs
http://www.lostdogsuk.com/

Bearded Collies are not always easily identified by the general public or even rescue kennels etc so get a recent photo and circulate it , leave it with the Local dogs homes and collection centres, dog wardens so they know what YOUR dog looks like (the photo they will have is probably of an immaculate looking show dog). Its a very frightening experience but you will find support from people and hopefully be reunited with your Beardie.

The various clubs do have traps and night vision equipment if suitable - contact the above two Bearded Collie sites and ask for help.

Ken Hines has written a leaflet about looking for a missing dog after his own beardie went missing. You can find this on
